After more than a decade, seems like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is getting achievements. It is surprising to see that Ubisoft is adding these sort of things to their old games. This Far Cry title was one of the last good games the company ever launched. Many thought they would forget about it, but it seems its about to get a refresh. Nowadays, the company mainly cares about extracting the most amount of money out of people with Live Service. We at Infinite Start will cover this new update.
Kick-ass action
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is acclaimed as one of the best Far Cry titles. Being wildly different than your average Far Cry, this entry sends us into a cyberpunk styled world. While it is true that the online elements of the game have been removed some days ago, this game still holds up. The single player campaign is one bombastic experience oozing with retro futuristic inspiration when it comes to style. The gun play and general action is what you can expect from the Far Cry series.
After 12 years of being released in Steam, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is finally receiving an update to add achievements to the game. It seems that Ubisoft is now realizing that having Ubisoft Connect is rather useless, so they are porting their achievements from there. Steam has been dominant for years now, with no proper online store coming close to them. Epic has however dropped the Epic Store with Fortnite, being their killer app. But even still, not even Epic can topple Steam when it comes to offers and good catalogue.
Players now have an excuse to experience the popular Far Cry title again or for the first time. Achievements are nice to boost playing hours of a title without having to artificially extend time through vast and empty open worlds.
