Marvel Rivals drops update for February 2025

Marvel Rivals Drops February 6 Update with Bug Fixes and New Skins

NetEase Games has rolled out a new Marvel Rivals update, bringing a fresh batch of bug fixes and two new character skins. The February 6 patch addresses some long-standing issues with heroes like Moon Knight and Magneto while also setting the stage for Captain America and Luna Snow’s latest cosmetics, which drop on February 7.

Bug Fixes and Gameplay Adjustments

For fans frustrated with Moon Knight’s Ultimate, this update finally fixes the missing ground visual cue, making it easier to dodge his devastating attack. However, many believe his Ultimate is still dealing unintended double damage—something that remains unaddressed in the patch notes. Meanwhile, Magneto’s Meteor M ability, which previously failed to absorb Iron Man’s Ultimate under certain conditions, has been patched. Despite this fix, many in the community are pushing for further adjustments, arguing that Meteor M should absorb all incoming attacks instead of capping out.

Beyond hero balancing, the update also smooths out some gameplay quirks, like Venom’s Wild Swing occasionally failing to land properly and Storm’s Ultimate acting unpredictably when combined with Doctor Strange’s portal. Even Jeff the Land Shark got some love—his Spitting Shenanigans move has been tweaked to prevent weird animation glitches.

New Skins for Captain America and Luna Snow

On the cosmetic front, Marvel Rivals players can look forward to two new skins arriving on February 7. Captain America’s Avengers: Infinity War outfit swaps his traditional bright colors for a grittier, battle-worn look, complete with the iconic Wakandan shields. Meanwhile, Luna Snow is stepping into the future with her Mirae 2099 skin, featuring a vibrant mix of pink, purple, and silver, plus a sleek pair of headphones. There’s no official word yet on pricing, but anticipation is already high among players.

Human Torch and The Thing Still on the Horizon

While the February update brings plenty of fixes and fresh content, there’s still no news on when Marvel Rivals will add Human Torch and The Thing. Both characters are set to join the roster in a mid-season update, but NetEase has yet to lock down a release date. With the season expected to last about three months, many players are hoping the iconic duo will arrive before the end of February.

For now, this patch helps refine the Marvel Rivals experience while adding some exciting new cosmetics. Whether you’re here for the skins or the fixes, there’s plenty to check out before the next big update drops.
