Ghost Vanguard looks like an amazing take on the hidden spectacle fighter genre. This genre is basically a sub genre that applies mostly to the beat em up genre. It can also apply to other games but it is often seen in that aforementioned combination. Many of the elements we can see in the trailer seem to take inspiration from Dungeon Fighter Online. There is also plenty of animations who are just straight up references to many other media franchises. We can see Dragon Ball, Devil May Cry, amongst other references in the mix. We at Infinite Start will cover this new experience coming soon to PC.
Ghost Vanguard rocks
The game is filled with over the top fighting against hordes of enemies, or at least that’s what we can see so far. The company behind this game, Wombo Combo Games, has previous experience in the medium. However, the title they released back in 2018 seems to have only acquired a mixed score. This does not inspire much faith in the quality that Ghost Vanguard might have, but we can be wrong for assuming so. A lot of indie studios who did wrong things in the past managed to escape that hole and deliver amazing experiences. No Man’s Sky is an excellent example of a game that delivered after many arduous years of free updates.
Ghost Vanguard looks like an exciting alternative for those fans of Dungeon Fighter Online who are tired of being stuck on a Live Service game. Combos look as crazy, if not crazier than the aforementioned game, and there’s no weird micro transactions locking you out of them. If you are interested in this new title, you may want to wishlist it on the Steam platform. Each time you wishlist something, you are giving a boost to the developers behind the game so they can reach more people.
