Fortnite Confirms T-Pain Collab

Fortnite Announces T-Pain Cross-Over for Chapter 6 Season 2

Epic Games officially unveiled a cross-over with Grammy award-winning rapper T-Pain within Fortnite’s impending Chapter 6 Season 2, released on February 21. Unlike any other music crossover, T-Pain engages in an imaginary rap beef with Fortnite’s new playable character Big Dill, and it adds the unexpected to Fortnite’s expanding inventory of pop culture crossovers.

Epic Games has been long including music legends in Fortnite, and previous collaborations have included the likes of Eminem, Metallica, Ice Spice, and Billie Eilish. Others have added live concerts or Festival Passes to the game, but T-Pain’s collaboration is different, as seen in an X post by Fortnite.

T-Pain is creating beats with Big Dill in a promotional video before he strolls off after consuming too much pickle juice. Big Dill steals his beats while he’s away, initiating a rap feud. The storyline of the season will allegedly be built on this comedic premise and develop over time as part of Fortnite’s overall narrative.

What to Expect in Chapter 6 Season 2?

Aside from the T-Pain collaboration, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is set to have a great many other cool additions:

  • Big Dill as a Battle Pass skin – One of seven new skins to get this season.
  • Sub-Zero is coming to Fortnite – The legendary Mortal Kombat warrior is on his way, and Scorpion cosmetics rumors in the future.
  • Midas returns – A fan favorite, Midas returns but with a darker look, with longer hair and a streetwear style. His character is connected to the season’s heist narrative.
  • Map and loot updates – With each season, new maps and weapons will set gameplay ablaze.

While Fortnite keeps on mixing music, game, and story, T-Pain’s rap beef with Big Dill introduces a new type of humor into the battle royale. Fans won’t have to wait too long and get a chance to see what this feud will look like, as Chapter 6 Season 2 starts on February 21.
