A recently deleted Steam Page had listed additional DLC’s for Elden Ring Nightreign, which all but confirms that developer FromSoftware’s Online Co-Op Survival Battle royale could get several bosses and new Playable characters in the near future. And while the Page had promptly been removed, it does suggest that more DLC contents are well underway for Elden Ring Nightreign, and could be announced properly after the game’s release on May 30.
Considering FromSoftware’s impressive track record of providing new contents and DLC’s for all of their previous titles, it’s only natural that Elden Ring Nightreign would get similar level of treatment post-release. Also as the standalone game is much more live-service in nature, it’s pretty much destined to receive tons of amazing contents including new characters and bosses in the form of both free and paid DLC’s. And as it already features several enemies from previous FromSoftware titles like the Nameless King, it’s likely that more bosses and other contents from earlier games also making their way to Elden Ring Nightreign which would be welcome for all fans of the series.
Also it’s important to note that many of the iconic and memorable boss fights from the previous games would shine a lot more in the unique, multi-player survival setting of Elden Ring Nightreign, which means fans can certainly look forward to facing the Looking Glass Knight or Lady Maria at some point in the upcoming game. Then there’s also the possibility of playing those boss fights with whole new characters which provides unique twists to the experience that would be loved by all fans of the series.
Elden Ring Nightreign is currently undergoing a live Network test which is aimed at evaluating several aspects of the Online functionalities and performance so that after the actual release of the game, things can be stable and smooth for all players.
Elden Ring Nightreign is slated to release on May 30, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC platform.
