Warzone Glitch Lets Players Equip Modern Warfare 3 Camos on Black Ops 6 Weapons

A new glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone has caught the community’s attention, allowing players to equip camos from Modern Warfare 3 (2023) on Black Ops 6 weapons. This workaround, shared by X user BSPGamin, offers a creative—but unofficial—solution for players wanting to bring older camo designs into their current loadouts.

Camos in Call of Duty have long been a badge of honor, earned through grueling in-game challenges. For Black Ops 6, players grind through milestones such as 100 headshots to unlock coveted skins like Dark Matter. However, mastery camos from Modern Warfare 3 have largely been left unused in Warzone, despite their popularity. This glitch gives players a way to repurpose those designs, though it requires specific steps and help from a friend.

To execute the glitch, players must first join a private Warzone match and equip a Black Ops 6 weapon in the first loadout slot. After joining a friend’s lobby, they need to switch to a Modern Warfare 3 weapon and spam-select the desired camo while the host toggles between private matches. The sequence must be repeated, with precise timing, to make the camo transfer successful. While functional, this exploit is not officially supported and is likely to be patched by developers Raven Software or Treyarch Studios in an upcoming update.

The glitch has sparked debate among fans. Some argue that allowing cross-game camo usage should be a standard feature, especially for players who invested hours unlocking mastery skins in previous titles. Others are content with Treyarch’s promise of an updated challenge-tracking system for Black Ops 6, a feature that was notably absent at launch but will return in a future patch.

While this glitch provides a temporary workaround to equip modern Warfare 3 Camos in Warzone, its longevity is uncertain. Players eager to try it may want to act quickly before it’s patched out.
