Ubisoft delays DLC for The Division 2, marking yet another delay from the company. After many blunders, one would expect that Ubisoft would learn to care more. However, it is clear that there’s some attempt to actually try and bring some quality to the table. But even with delays, you never know Ubisoft will perform. We at Infinite Start will cover this blunder in depth.
A Resolute Plan
Its is known since the year 2023 that Ubisoft has planned to make improvements on the game. Fixing myriads of bugs and correcting some balance related issues, along with expanding content. This initiative was called Project Resolve, however, with how things are going, it should get a new name. It was stated that the project was going to release this year, however, it seems that it has been pushed back yet again.
But there’s still hope, people cling to the hope that Ubisoft will finally do something. Official Ubisoft statements are what the fan base clings to.
“Our team is dedicated to continuing to build the future of The Division 2, We have exciting updates in store including the new season we can’t wait for you to play starting on Tuesday February 25.” – Ubisoft says in-game.
It is important to know however that Ubisoft has been quite sloppy lately. After many terrible NFT projects, it seems that Ubisoft needs to close down some branches. This is the sign of a company that is having serious financial issues. Be it due to their bad luck, or well, terrible decisions making skills.
Ubisoft also confirmed that The Division 3 is under development, so they might as well pull the plug on this one. Live Service games are truly wonderful, until they become Dead Service games. This is a fact that eventually affects every single Live Service experience. And judging from many of these try to implement abusive tactics to extract money from players, is it really a loss?
