Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero getting 11 new characters in it’s first major DLC

The first major Downloadable Content for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be released on January 23 and will add a total of 11 new heroes in the game. The DLC pack is titled Hero of Justice and will launch on the PC, PS5 and the Xbox systems with early access opening on January 20, which means you can get your hands on those exciting new additions much earlier. The announcement of it’s first DLC is definitely a welcome news for fans of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and the new characters, some of which are quite fan favorite will no doubt add even more playability to the game.

Bandai Namco has also released a new trailer showcasing all the different characters players will get to play in the upcoming DLC, which includes all of Gohan’s and Piccolo’s new transformations from the most recent Dragon Ball movie titled Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. And here’s the list of all the new characters from the new DLC:

Gohan (Super Hero), Ultimate Gohan, Beast Gohan, Gohan (Super Saiyan 2), Piccolo (Super Hero), Orange Piccolo, Piccolo (Potential Unlocked), Giant Piccolo, Cell Max, Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Piccolo Red Ribbon Army Disguise Costume.

The pack also features 3 new custom battles and a teaser from Bandai Namco saying “that’s not all”, perhaps we’ll know more about this on the release date of the DLC.

The publisher has also confirmed that players with the game’s Season Pass (which costs $34.99) will get all three DLC packs starting on January 20 at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern / 11pm UK.

The upcoming 2nd and 3rd DLC packs will also be hopefully released in the first half of 2025, and will focus on adding even more exciting and fan favorite characters to the game’s roster. It’s safe to say that if you’re a fan of the anime or the game, you’ll have a lot to love in all the DLC’s.
