Throughout the history of Black Ops 6 since its time of release, there has only been one event, The Hit List. And as such, fans expected a festive Black Ops 6 event for the coming Holidays, and that was the case. Treyarch recently announced a new Black Ops 6 event on X, Jingle Hells – following the end of the former event, Hit List.
Jingle Hells comes with a limited-time mode which has been featured in some past games in the series like Black Ops Cold War, which makes it highly anticipated as it makes its return in Black Ops 6 Zombies. The Black Ops 6 event would be released this festive season and the main purpose is to transform Liberty Falls into a frosty winterland.
Jingle Hells Black Ops 6 Event Release Date
As Treyarch revealed on X, the Jingle Hells event is slated to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on December 17, 2024. That said, fans expect a chilling festive experience of zombie chaos to enjoy the season.
All About the Jingle Hells Event in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The Jingle Hells Black Ops 6 Event includes time limited rewards, festive decorations and aesthetics to zombies and the Liberty Falls maps, unique gameplay, and a general Holiday-themed experience.
In the Jingle Hells event for Black Ops 6 Zombies, fans can expect:
- Main Quest: Players would be faced with special challenges without having access to the Arsenal ams Crafting Tables. The Main Quest can be completed in the Zombies mode, and when successfully completed, players are rewarded with standard Main Quest prizes.
- Festive Audio and Visuals: To increase the overall holiday-themed experience, custom festive sounds are included.
- Holiday Cheer GobbleGum: The Holiday Cheer GobbleGum is a newly added time limited GobbleGum which can be claimed by participating in the Jingle Hells event.
- Snowball Piles: Players are able to gather snowballs from piles across the map. These snowballs can freeze enemies, and can be used as frosty yet powerful projectiles.
- Naughty or Nice Power-Up: Players are given surprises based on their actions which are contained in enormous floating stockings. Players either get gifts or confront a swarm of Vermin.
- Deceptive Snowmen: Liberty Falls’ landscape is filled with cheerful snowmen. Or perhaps not, because they are very tricky and conceal lots of secrets. These snowmen can either unleash zombies or valuable loot upon being. Players are encouraged to make them a priority to obtain useful items.
- Present Boxes: Zombies may drop small gift boxes during battles. These boxes can provide ongoing rewards to players.
- S.A.M.T.A. Trials: The trial machines have a festive, holiday-themed design, and S.A.M.T.A. is likely to drop extra presents near these machines. Players are encouraged to be vigilant when entering the map to spot these seasonal goodies.
- Frozen Rounds: A strange fog rolls in during certain rounds, creating a chilling effect that hinders the speed and reactions of players. When the frost arrives, seeking shelter indoors may be the best strategy for survival.
