Final Fantasy XIV Mobile announced for Android and iOS

Tencent Games and Square Enix have officially announced the highly anticipated mobile version of Final Fantasy XIV, coming to both Android and iOS devices. The game will undergo multiple playtests, starting in China, with a global launch planned to follow “soon after.”

Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will complement the original Final Fantasy XIV, aiming to deliver its epic story and dynamic combat mechanics on mobile devices. Fans of the Disciples of the Land and Hand will be glad to hear that these elements will be faithfully included. Moreover, the mobile version will be overseen by Square Enix, with none other than Naoki Yoshida himself supervising its development.
