ELO released Vagabond version 1.6.410, which includes a couple notable fixes for Android devices.
According to the patch notes this version adds controller support for PS Remote Play, and Call of Duty Mobile on Android devices. This update was also accompanied by Unleashed v1.1.0 (49), which addresses unspecified bugs, and improves performance.
Given this was one of our biggest criticisms against ELO Vagabond in our recent review, I was excited to test it out. However, the experience was a mixed bag.
While I can confirm PS Remote Play is working on Android, the experience proved glitchy. An expanded version of this can be found in an updated section of the aforementioned review; but the gist is various games had L2, and sometimes even R2, active at all times. This didn’t make games unplayable, but it did result in some frustrating issues.
Given there are countless variables when it comes to Android devices, I did a brief search to see what other players were saying. For better or worse, I could not find any comments on this update.
In addition to new software, ELO gave backers a number of updates via Kickstarter.
