Rockstar Teases Imminent Red Dead Redemption PC Port Announcement Following New Launcher Update

After years of anticipation, Red Dead Redemption might finally be making its way to PC. Speculations about the game’s PC port have resurfaced, following new updates in the Rockstar Games Launcher.

The latest hint emerged when the update added a configuration folder for Red Dead Redemption under Windows documents. This discovery has fueled expectations that Rockstar is preparing for an official announcement. Interestingly, Rockstar later reverted these changes, removing the folder, which suggests they are in the final stages of readiness.

This isn’t the first sign, though. Earlier leaks had revealed metadata tied to the PC version. Descriptions referencing a PC release date back to May 2024, with promises of an experience that includes both Red Dead Redemption and the Undead Nightmare expansion.

However, an official confirmation is yet to come, although fans are hopeful it will coincide with Rockstar’s upcoming earnings call. While the game is already playable on PC via emulation, the native port has long been demanded by players.
