Square Enix released a special demo for Visions of Mana on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, and PC.
The demo takes place “partway through chapter 1,” allowing players to progress up to the chapter’s final boss, the Kraken. Unfortunately, progress will not carry over to the full game due to it being “altered for a more satisfying experience.” Those who give it a go will be rewarded with three weapons for Val. These include Gladius, Falx and Horn Lance.
In honor of Visions of Mana, Square Enix also launched an initiative to plant 25,000 trees across the globe.
The Mana Tree is at the heart of Visions of Mana.
This powerful perennial presides over the world’s vital supply of mana. Every four years chosen alms, must travel to the tree to maintain the survival of their lands. These fated few are selected by the Faerie, from settlements across this bright and vibrant land. The upcoming adventure tells of one of these pilgrimages.
In short, then, the Mana Tree is pretty darn important.
But trees are important in our world too. That’s why the reforestation work that One Tree Planted does is so admirable! The non-profit organization works to combat the effects of natural and unnatural deforestation and its impact on the environment all over the globe.
To celebrate the upcoming launch of Visions of Mana, and the release of the new demo, we have an unbe-leaf-able initiative to announce!
