Gunnar Optiks announced their latest fashion forward line, the Strata Collection.
This line includes three new frames named after the popular California destinations, Pacifica, Palomar, and Pismo. Pacifica and Palomar sport a trendy round design that is made layered with magnesium aluminum, and stainless steel. Pismo features the same materials, just with a square design.
Each style is also at Gunnar’s epic performance level, meaning any of the three designs feature flexible spring hinges, along with G-Shield Plus lens coating that is anti-reflective, and smudge resistant. Along with that, each frame includes a pouch, cleaning cloth, and flat fold case.
The real highlight for this collection is the Clear Pro lens option. This is Gunnar’s new clear lens that boasts “true color rendition.” It was previously exclusive to the Arbor collection, so it’s nice to see more options available. Those looking for better blue light blocking performance have the usual Amber option as well as a wider variety of prescription options.
All three are now available from Gunnar Direct, with options starting at $89.99.
