MultiVersus to Address Locked Characters in Training Mode in a Future Patch

MultiVersus Game Director, and Player First Games co-founder, Tony Huynh, confirmed a patch is in the works to address issues with characters being locked in training mode.

While this sounds like a small issue, it prevents players from trying a character before buying. This can be rather annoying, given the changes in progression, and wide variety of character styles.

Unfortunately, while training is going to be addressed in a future patch, it was not confirmed if offline versus would be impacted as well. This was one of a wide variety of changes made to that players are divided on.

For those who missed it, MultiVersus officially re-released on May 29. Returning players were given the first season pass, which has enough currency to purchase the next season, along with a wider array of cosmetics to unlock. It also has a number of exciting events, including one that unlocks Agent Smith before his official release, and other short lived costumes.
