How to recruit Huang in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Huan is among the numerous characters in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes who hold a crucial role in the development of your castle town. As a fisherman, he can be recruited early in the game. Once he joins your party, he’ll incorporate fishing spots into your castle, and his presence ensures a steady supply of fish—a valuable ingredient for cooking various dishes.

Requirement

Huang will require you to catch a rare fish known as the Wheel Eye Bream before he agrees to join your party.

How to recruit Huang in Eiyuden Chronicle

FIRST ENCOUNTER

You’ll initially encounter Huang near the start of the game, situated in the town of Arenside. When you first approach him in Arenside, found in the southwestern district of the town, he’ll generously provide you with a fishing rod to kickstart your fishing endeavors. Regrettably, at this stage of the game, he is not available for recruitment.

SECOND ENCOUNTER

Your second encounter with Huang will take place in the city of Hishahn. You’ll locate Huang by the waters adjacent to the Trading and Appraiser’s shop. If this is your initial meeting with Huang, he will provide you with a fishing rod. However, if this is your second encounter, he will agree to join you only if you present him with the rare Wheel Eye Bream.

Where to fish the Wheel Eye Bream

Fishing for the Wheel Eye Bream can be quite challenging due to its low catch rate. However, with sufficient patience and determination, securing the Wheel Eye Bream is entirely achievable.

There is only one location where the Wheel Eye Bream spawns, situated in the southeastern region of Euchrisse, near The Seacavern. Simply walk along the shoreline from The Seacavern until you discover the designated fishing spot.
