Remnant II cross-play update now live

Following the successful launch of Remnant II, Gearbox Publishing and developer Gunfire Games are thrilled to announce today that the highly anticipated cross-play update is now live across all platforms.

Since the initial release of Remnant II, players have fervently requested the addition of cross-play functionality. After months of eager anticipation, players can finally enjoy cooperative gameplay seamlessly across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. “Cross-play has consistently ranked as one of the most requested features by our community,” stated Gunfire Games President and Remnant II Director, David Adams, in a recent press release. “We’re delighted to deliver on this demand today, thanks to the dedication of our team in making it a reality. And this is just the beginning – there’s a wealth of additional Remnant II content on the horizon, including our upcoming downloadable content!”

Moreover, enthusiasts can eagerly anticipate an exhilarating limited-time in-game event named “Aberration Domination,” starting today and running through March 5th. Throughout this event, players will seize the chance to conquer the Aberration and amass Corrupted Shards, enabling them to forge formidable new corrupted weapons. The event unveils five fresh corrupted iterations of familiar weapons: Savior, Twisted Arbalest, Sorrow, Cube Gun, and Nebula.

Remnant II is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Be sure to explore our comprehensive review for further insights into the game.
