Lies of P DLC and November Patch Teased in Director’s Letter Video

Lies of P Director, Ji Won Choi, released a brief video that goes over what players can expect from the experience going forward.

For those looking for the highlights, the Director’s Letter starts by teasing Lies of P‘s upcoming Nov. patch. Following the update weapons will be balanced with the hopes of players enjoying the modular weapon system to its fullest. Based off the phrasing this sounds exclusively like buffs, though no specifics were given.

Another positive change is making the initial levels easier by unlocking Rising Dodge by default. This skill allows players to dodge when on the ground, making it an invaluable P-Organ unlock. Along with this skill, two additional Quartz can be purchase from Polendina. These small changes should go far to make the experience more forgiving at the start.

All players will also receive Alidoro’s costume as a token of Neowiz’s appreciation. A new cosmetic system will be added in this patch as well. With it players can equip glasses and other accessories, with a few being added as well.

Fans of the soundtrack can also look forward to the full list, which includes over 60 songs, to be released in the future.

Finally, the Director’s Letter teases the upcoming Lies of P DLC expansion. Anyone who hasn’t played, or finished yet should not worry about spoilers. Only a couple images were shown and neither are what we would consider a spoiler. Still, if you’re worried about it I wouldn’t chance it.

For those who haven’t experienced Lies of P yet, you can check out our full review and the official overview below.
