Wheaties and Sony have teamed up to deliver a limited edition box of cereal designed around Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The boxes, which are limited to 2,000 total, are available exclusively via Wheaties online site. The basic version includes Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 branding, prequel comic, and voucher for a PlayStation Stars collectible for $45. Another version includes all the aforementioned things in an acrylic case. These are limited to only 500 units, have unfortunately sold out by the time of posting, and cost $70.

Not only is this an interesting collaboration, the inclusion of a PlayStation Stars collectible shows Sony is willing to expand out the program. This will no doubt be among the rarest collectibles, assuming the voucher is placed in the box.
At the time no one has posted what the collectible looks like beyond a brief explanation of it matching the packaging. Even PocketPSN doesn’t have an image of it, though it will likely be revealed in the next couple of days.
