Vought Studios, which is The Boy‘s official TikTok account, confirmed the series will be present in Mortal Kombat 1.
While the confirmation does not technically note what presence The Boys will have in Mortal Kombat 1, various rumors have suggested Homelander would be part of the first Kombat Pass.
These rumors started before Mortal Kombat 1 was even revealed, with Amazon Italy briefly listing the potential roster. That list included Homelander, along with Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, and Takeda. With this confirmation it suggests the mistaken listing is accurate, though it’s important to remember crossover fighters can be cancelled at any time.
While we will need to wait for more information, which might occur after Mortal Kombat 1‘s Sept. 19 release date, it’s good to see something is in the works.
