Earlier this week, composer Michael Walthius posted a TikTok video where he claims his music was used in the PlayStation 2 title, Road Trip Adventure, without his permission.
According to Walthius, several of the tracks used in Road Trip Adventure were used without a license, with the only credit for music and song being Fumio Tanabe.
The post goes on to mention MOVGAMES YouTube video where 11 songs are mentioned.
Since posting, the TikTok post blew up, earning over 1 million views, 100,000 likes, 3,000+ comments offering support, and was shared a number of places like Reddit.
At this time, Tanabe, or the developer, E-game, have no issued a comment.
It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes of this, but make sure to stay tuned for more information as it arises.
