Tribute Games revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will release for PlayStation 5 on Nov. 15. Along with the announcement, Tribute Games revealed some interesting details about the upcoming port.
According to their Twitter account, the PlayStation 5 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is “identical” to the previously released PlayStation 4 version. Despite this, Tribute Games also confirmed the new version does not support cross-buy and suggests purchasing the already released PlayStation 4 version if you want to play on both consoles.
While this choice might seem unusual, Tribute Games clarified the PlayStation 5 version is necessary for the upcoming physical and collector’s editions, which are currently available for preorder from Limited Run Games. These editions are exactly the same as the previous versions, expect they no longer come with a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
Those interested can preorder the regular version for $34.99, Classic Edition for $64.99, Radical Edition for $199.99, or a bundle of all three versions for $299.99 from Limited Run Games. While preorders will run until Nov. 27, the Classic Edition is limited to 2,000 copies, with the Radical Edition limited to just 1,000, so if you want those you’ll want to act fast.
