Diablo IV is Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series; Final Class Revealed

Blizzard Entertainment confirmed Diablo IV will release for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series and PC sometime in 2023 and will feature cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms.

In addition to confirming new platforms, the fifth and final class, Necromancer, was also revealed.

Necromancers are cunning summoners that conjure vengeful hordes of the undead. Their Essence flows into three powerful bastions of Bone, Blood, or Shadow to bring low their enemies.

Official Website

Mike Ybarra, president at Blizzard Entertainment, added the following about the reveals:

We can’t wait to open the gates of Hell next year—the talented team behind Diablo IV puts gameplay first in everything they do, and they have built the biggest and most ambitious vision of Sanctuary yet.

This sprawling world draws deeply from the dark well of the franchise’s 25-year history and is designed around the philosophy of player choice, offering an adventure unlike anything Diablo players have experienced before.

Press Release

If you haven’t already, the official Diablo IV website was also updated so players can sign up for early access to the upcoming beta. While registering interest does not guarantee a spot, it never hurts to sign up if you want to among the first to experience the upcoming experience.
