Elden Ring Day One Patch Detailed

When Elden Ring officially launches on February 25 worldwide, fans who will be playing the game regardless of what platform will be getting the day one patch before you can start playing online.

Elden Ring Day One Patch features both updates 1.01 and 1.02. During our review session about two weeks ago, we were in update 1.01 but now that the game is releasing pretty soon, Bandai Namco updated it ensuring a smooth launch on Friday.

Below are the Elden Ring Day One patch notes:

Version 1.01

  • Several functions have been added.
  • Game performance and usability have been improved.
  • Game balance has been adjusted.
  • In addition to the above, various errors have been corrected.

Version 1.02

  • Improved player controls
  • Addition and adjustment of BGM
  • Text adjustments
  • Balance adjustments
  • NPC event fixes and adjustments
  • Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
  • Fixed text bug in some languages
