Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

All content coming from Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be available to all players who have purchased the standalone version, except for the cosmetics that can only be unlocked via the single-player campaign. For players on both PS4 and PS5, they will be able to play together seamlessly and progression carries over regardless of which console they’re playing on.

In addition, Sucker Punch also announced today that a new mode titled Rivals will be coming to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends on September 3. Fans can look forward to new trophies and cosmetics to collect.

In Rivals mode, there will be two teams of two that will compete to defeat waves of enemies. With each defeated foe, players will collect Magatama that players can use to harm the other team.

Also, releasing at the same time Rivals launches, Sucker Punch will be releasing a Gear Master system. This is a new expansion of the progression systems and rewards for Legends. Players who’ve earned 110-level gear will now be able to bind it to a class and activate “Mastery Challenges.” This will allow a piece of gear’s Ki level to be upgraded to 120 and eventually unlock a second perk slot! As players activate Mastery Challenges, players can also unlock a new Ability and new Techniques for each class.

Similar to the standalone version, those who purchased Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be able to upgrade to the Director’s Cut version for $39.99 at any time for PS4 and $49.99 for the PS5 version.
