With GreedFall now available for PS5, many PlayStation 5 owners subscribed to PlayStation Plus will not be getting the free PS5 upgrade.
While many PlayStation Plus subscribers are disappointed at this news, this shouldn’t come as a surprise as when Square Enix released Intergrade for Final Fantasy VII Remake, those who downloaded the PS Plus version got the same treatment.
The sad news has been confirmed by the official GreedFall Twitter account, which responded to a fan asking about the PS5 upgrade for the PS Plus version; “The free version obtained by the PS+ subscription is not eligible for the free upgrade to the PS5 version.” Though Xbox Game Pass subscribers who have downloaded the game from the catalog will grant subscribers the free upgrade when it becomes available.
GreedFall is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
