No open-world RPG would be complete without a series of fetch quests and Biomutant is no exception. In fact, a good portion of the quests is centered around finding items referred to as “old world gadgets” and making use of them. Be it phone booths, televisions, or even safe boxes, there are countless of these items to find, but are they worth the grind? To make it easier, we completed all these quests so you can determine if the reward is worth the grind.
Unlike most games, the vast majority of quest rewards in Biomutant are meant to be more novelty rewards. The charm comes from having weird and quirky weapons, over overpowered and extremely powerful tools.
Unlike Googlide and Mekton, with the exception of one upgrade being linked to the quest Stalagmite Tunnels, different Automations are hidden behind noticeboard quests. These can be easy to ignore, since they’re a little more involved and not exactly the most interesting. Unfortunately, we did not keep track of which Automation goes with which board, but we can show you what they all look like.
For one reason or another, certain quests gave us no unique loot. These quests might be glitched, perhaps consider another aspect the reward, or were simply forgotten. Every item on this list was double-checked against our inventory and footage to make sure they gave no actual reward for our run of Biomutant.
