Songs of Conquest is getting a new DLC to expand the game even further. This PC game took the world by storm when it was first revealed in 2022 at INDIE Live Expo, and since then it has won many well deserved awards. The gameplay does feel very similar to that of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, but it brings its own spin to the formula to make it its own. Despite the fact that this game is made with Unity, it does look like one of those 2D HD titles that Square Enix sometimes brings out from time to time, I really think fans of strategy will love it.
Songs of Conquest brings the dead
On March 5th the dead will rise with the Rise Eternal DLC, and it will be a story about revenge and necromancy, so for those who love raising the dead and casting the forbidden arts keep an eye on this one, I’m sure it won’t disappoint. Expanding upon such an amazing game like Songs of Conquest makes me remember of the time that older PC games also used to have expansions that brought tons of new content into the game to play through, those were the best days.
If you are interested in grabbing Songs of Conquest, be mindful that this title has a pair of DLC packs behind it, with Rise Eternal being the 3rd in the series, you would perhaps get more bang for your buck if you actually buy the pack with all campaign DLCs in it. Make sure to always aim for a price that does not hurt your wallet cause there is a ton of games out there that you may be interested in but don’t have enough money to buy. Thankfully small scale games like Songs of Conquest will remain cheap compared to others.
