Baby Steps seems to be more of the same cake that was Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and honestly it should remain that way. We will experience yet another wacky physics experiment in gaming, with a tad more of philosophy mixed in and lots but lots of pain in store. Trying to surpass this sort of hurdle will be an amazing task to accomplish, perhaps even harder than the entire Dark Souls trilogy on New Game +7. So if you are interested on taking a shot with this one, you should really get it, Bennet Foddy is quite literally a new age artist and philosopher when you think about it.

The new release trailer is also hilarious, we see our main character trudging like a drunkard through various dangerous terrains and failing to do so in an spectacularly rag doll fashion. If this isn’t yet another sort of critique to various things like Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy then I would be surprised since Bennett loves using games as a story telling medium and a medium to convey complex ideas too.
