Hoyoverse has confirmed the character banners for the much-anticipated Version 6.0 of Genshin Impact. The update, set to release on September 10, will introduce three new playable characters and a new region, Nod-Krai. It will also celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary.
The first half of the update’s Event Banners will feature two five-star Dendro Catalyst users: Lauma, a new character, and Nahida, who is making a rerun. Joining them in the four-star rotation will be Barbara, Kuki Shinobu, and Kaveh. The second half will include the debut of the five-star Electro Polearm user Flins and a rerun of Yelan. Aino, a new four-star Hydro character, will also appear, along with Sucrose and Dori.
A significant addition to the update is the Sumeru Chronicled Banner. This banner will showcase six five-star characters from the Sumeru region, including Tighnari, Nilou, Cyno, Wanderer, Alhaitham, and Dehya. Their signature weapons will also be available, giving players a chance to obtain powerful armaments such as Hunter’s Path, Beacon of the Reed Sea, and Light of Foliar Incision.
As a way to celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary, players can claim a free five-star character from the Standard Banner. The Version 6.0 update promises considerable value for all players, especially those with free-to-play accounts, which will receive 120 Intertwined Wishes upon entering the new region. This influx of new content and celebratory rewards will give players a strategic choice to make with their limited resources, especially with more exciting characters coming soon.
