Thus, the possible collaboration now holds greater relevance, given the impending launch of Borderlands 4 on September 12 and with it a subsequent surge of interest.
The battle royale has broken some ground in Pandora before; Psycho Bandit and the much-beloved Claptrap back bling have both been thrown into the thin pool of cosmetics the game houses. Thus, lending a lot more credence to the rumors at hand and getting players hyped for any potentially new content whatsoever.
Data mining by known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR strongly indicates the presence of Moxxi’s character model somewhere in the game’s files, suggesting she might drop on the island sometime in the near future. While there is a possibility that she may come out before the end of Chapter 6 Season 3 on August 7, the timeline of Borderlands 4 launching in September gives a second viable window for her arrival into the game.
The leak also suggests some potential cosmetics that may launch alongside Moxxi, including “Moxxi’s Kiss” and “Moxxi’s Lip Service.” But there has yet to be confirmation for when the skin might drop, if it could possibly be featured in a future battle pass or event, or if it might launch in the Item Shop.
