Steam leaks show that a new redesign is coming soon, the hack that happened around a month ago was actually done to obtain information about various things, aside from well, our accounts. PC gamers got very scared when that happened, but the reality is that as long as you have two factor authentication up things are dandy. According to some Reddit users, the Steam leaks have revealed that the code for the UI of the platform will change substantially. As much as I don’t think making UI changes is that good, it would be nice to see the client being more responsive and efficient. We at Infinite Start will appreciate that.
Steam leaks situation is crazy
While there’s no clear answers as to how the new interface will look, perhaps we will get to know more about in the coming days. Aside from that, it seems that a new change will allow users to permanently remove age warnings from any game. No more we will have to trudge through menus that asks us if we are adult enough to see certain games anymore, that will be convenient. The leakers in question, LambdaGeneration and xPaw, have teamed up to give the Steam community some cool insider stuff. You can find them in the Steam subreddit.
We all known that there’s a policy for leakers and people who do such things, but as long as the companies behind it aren’t harmed financially, it seems that no actions will be taken. I personally feel like leaks kinda kill the enjoyment, but since every company has been so quiet about doing things people found other ways to get transparency on what is happening. Leakers are oftentimes some of our best allies in the industry, so whether we like them or not, we have to respect the effort they put into trying to provide us with substantial evidence such as the Steam leaks.
