Paladin Studios Closes After 19 Years

After nearly two decades, Paladin Studios, known for its mobile and indie games, has closed its doors. The Dutch studio, located in The Hague, had struggled to secure sufficient work to sustain its operations, leading to its shutdown

The company revealed that continuing under the current financial strain would have been irresponsible and likely led to insolvency. To ensure an orderly closure, the studio has arranged for proper severance packages for its 45 employees while remaining debt-free.

Paladin Studios Closes After 19 Years

Founded in 2005, Paladin Studios developed several popular titles including Cut The Rope Remastered, My Tamagotchi Forever, Amazing Katamari Damacy, and Galaga Wars. Despite the studio’s success over the years, recent financial challenges forced this drastic step.

The studio’s games have reached millions of players worldwide, and Paladin will continue to offer technical support for its existing game library. This closure marks the end of an era for a studio that began as a small startup and grew into a significant player in the gaming industry.
