Talon Towers is coming soon, this is a new platformer game produced by a solo developer who wants to show the world his own ideas. A trailer was released showcasing some gameplay and what we can see is quite the unique platformer more people should check out. Platformer games nowadays are very rare to find because that’s a common genre people found on consoles like Nintendo. Considering the PC market is taking over, and PC gaming is becoming stronger each day, it would be cool to revive these genres in here, only indie developers can do this the right way.

We still don’t know a precise date for when the game will come out, but considering the year is ending and a huge release is about to happen, then it will be safe to assume that people will be buying this one in 2027. Maybe I’m proved wrong, and the game is about to release in just some weeks and they just wanted to tease a bit of it to get people interested. Considering how hard it is to make people invested in something nowadays, reaching out with a trailer and a Youtube channel seems the best way to do it.
Platformers need to revive, and Talon Towers seems to bring something interesting to the table, the atmosphere of the game seems very calm, but considering it is still in development things might be changing. Yet from what I see, it would be sad if these things were removed cause they already look quite good, the mist, the towering structures, even the particle effects itself look like a finished game in a way. Perhaps that’s some cutscene or something, but with the technology we have for games today it really feels like regular gameplay being taken from different camera angles.
