Control Resonant is a very important game, because it shows that Remedy is a company people can trust in. Now that this game is successful then that might secure the survival of the studio. Genuinely, it is great to see that Remedy is back in the game despite some setbacks, as they are a company that has done some very interesting games in the past that people didn’t understand. Be it due to culture wars issues or others, their games always fell under harsh criticism even if the people who did them cared about them a lot. Alas, its hard to find those with media literacy these days.
Control Resonant is great
The fact that even pirates are saying that people should be buying the game means that they just found a gold mine. This almost never happens, as pirates are happy by not supporting the industry in any meaningful way and sometimes you can understand them. Yet in this case, they recognize Remedy put a ton of effort into crafting this gem so they are going to support it, at least by telling others to do so. We need more games with soul like this one, because if we don’t see them then gaming can end up dying off.
Control Resonant is a continuation on the acclaimed Control series, and this happens to be the case of a sequel that is better than the original game. Something weird to see nowadays, because sequels often decline in quality in these kinds of games, but it seems that Remedy figured out the secret formula for this one to hit very hard. I love the setting, and people seem to really love the characters a ton, some even claiming that this might be the biggest labor of love in the platform in 2026.
