Allumeria is out, and it feels like quite the amazing take on Terraria if you ask me. This game got struck down by Microsoft because it looked similar to Minecraft, thankfully this didn’t last for long because the PC game returned to the store today. More people need to support this game, as it deserves more notoriety and we need to be able to stop Microsoft from taking over somehow. Minecraft used to be great but everything that Microsoft touches gets ruined with unnecessary bloat and many problems. Allumeria brings something different, that being a 3D way to play Terraria.
Allumeria is out
This release comes as a surprise because it was being bombarded by big companies that didn’t want to see the game come out. I’m glad this indie developer got out scotch free despite being attacked by the biggest companies in the industry, it truly shows that stealing is only good when a big company does it, and even still none of this game is particularly stolen either. It is just inspired and it uses a voxel art style to exist, I wanna see this one succeed and become a huge game that more people play because it has some huge potential.
Allumeria is great if you wanna build, because there’s tons of option, and it definitely beats Minecraft in this aspect because you can turn any block into anything you want. You may want to make a pillar of your house look a certain way, now you can do it, and change between a ton of designs and shapes. It truly is cool to see these Terraria elements being brought into a 3D world, because this should have happened with Minecraft many updates ago. Alas, Microsoft just wants to add new biomes that clutter the world, and more unnecessary blocks to the hit game.
