New GTA 6 Leaks Regarding Fighting Mechanics and Car Combat Surface

GTA 6

Some new leaks regarding Rockstar’s upcoming GTA 6 have recently surfaced which focuses on several gameplay aspects of the open world behemoth, and sounds legitimately exciting in more ways than one. According to HipHopGamer, based on a Netflix Gaming Event he attended earlier this year, “Car Combat Details And Fighting Mechanics In Grand Theft Auto 6 Are Next Level,” while also stating: “Even the process of stealing a car and getting out, certain gameplay things you can do is unbelievable.”

Which means unlike the previous titles in the franchise such as GTA 4 and 5 where many of the familiar gameplay mechanics such as hand-to-hand combat, getting into someone’s car (which has got to be the staple mechanics in the franchise) were pretty much identical but we may see a highly revamped version of those in the upcoming GTA 6, adding new life to those age-old core gameplay aspects in exciting ways.

All this time, we’ve only seen the enormous open world and the characters of GTA 6 while there has been nothing regarding it’s actual gameplay mechanics and how Rockstar can top the core gameplay aspects of the earlier titles as well as bring completely never-before-seen elements that can blow us all away. GTA 6 is supposed to evolve videogames as we know it, for all intents and purposes, and both fans and players who have patiently waited through so many delays to finally get their hands on the game, deserve nothing less.

An extended look at the upcoming GTA 6 is coming to Netflix on August 27 and will be made available for everyone to see on Youtube later that day, so if you have a subscription to Netflix, you’ll be able to get a first look at some of the features of the most anticipated videogame of all time when it premiers on the platform at 3 PM ET on August 27, and will be available on Rockstar’s own Youtube channel at 9 PM ET on the same day.

GTA 6 is currently slated to launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
