Developer S-Game has unveiled the official system requirements for their upcoming action title Phantom Blade Zero and they’re pretty mild and reasonable, for a game coming out in 2026. And even though it’s powered by Unreal Engine 5, Phantom Blade Zero won’t be using any form of RTGI and instead will only use RT reflections and RT shadows, although it can be assumed that there will be both Nanite and Lumen.

Phantom Blade Zero is an upcoming Soulslike title with elements of RPG mechanics sprinkled in, which should make for a challenging and rewarding gameplay experience, and is slated to release on October 29 this year. The game was also showcased during the Playstation State of Play event in June, featuring it’s unique combat system along with enemy designs.
A State of Play focusing on Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for this month as well, which will feature an extensive deep dive (with nearly 20 minutes of whole-new gameplay) and will help you zero in on the upcoming action title, or not. The event will be broadcasted on August 17 at 7:00pm PT / 10:00pm ET | August 18 at 3:00am BST / 10:00am Beijing Time / 11:00am JST.
Besides the finesse-based combat, the upcoming Phantom Blade Zero also features a unique ‘Honor’ system where you can influence the game’s central narrative through your choices in a myriad of ways. The choices can also have a butterfly effect and heavily impact or even alter the main questline, which will result in huge amounts of replayability.
