Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is celebrating its 10th anniversary, the physics sandbox with war elements had a very long run. Since its inception in 2016 as a demo for a Gamejam, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has been a staple in gaming that overtook Youtube with a force that nobody could imagine. This became one of the most popular PC games of 2016 despite being in active development. Not many games reach a goal like this, in fact, not many games pass the demo stage or even reach it, so we have to applaud the dedication of the team behind it.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is 10
Its is not everyday that you see a neat indie project celebrate a milestone like this, and the more studios that reach this goal in the indie side, the better. We are overflowing with games that lack soul coming from big companies who just focus on the profits rather than in the art of making games. The industry looks pretty bleak thanks to the layoffs of very talented people that have managed to make some amazing experiences, it really makes you want to support indies instead.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is a physics sandbox that also offers the ability of creating your own armies to fight against your friends in multiplayer mode. It is a very cool experiment, not many games aim for making complex physics simulators that gives you tons of different outcomes. The only other game I can think of is Wobble Dogs, but that one isn’t about war like Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is. Not to mention that Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is great when you start doing mods as it truly opens up the true potential of the game by adding tons of new things that aren’t in the base game.
