Marvel Tokon is definitely one of the most awaited fighting games out there. If you are a fan of games like Marvel Vs Capcom this is definitely an obligatory grab you need to do on PC. This game is huge, and I’m very sure that it will kickstart another big scene in the fighting game community… provided it can survive the current controversy and the PSN requirement isn’t true. Sony has said nothing about this, but considering they want to shift towards focusing on their console, maybe it is true and we will have to interact with their so called “ecosystem”.
Marvel Tokon in shambles
Marvel Tokon is definitely a game you shouldn’t pass up on, unless Sony decides to screw up things by enforcing people to use a PSN account that nobody wants or have. There is a ton of games out there that don’t require this silly pre-requisite, and if they decide to enforce such a thing consequences like that of what happened with Helldivers 2 will surely be a thing. This is bad because the game isn’t even out yet, which means that it can truly damage the sales of Marvel Tokon on PC if the rumor becomes a reality.
Not to mention the amount of people who won’t even be able to play the game, as PSN is blocked in over 132 countries, which means a huge chunk of the world will be barred of playing this one. No matter how great this game is, and it is shaping up to be great, Marvel Tokon is in a risky situation because everything can go wrong in some days. Hopefully Sony can respond to what’s going on, and hopefully this can be a PC release free of troubles, as Sony has announced they wanted to move on from the PC platform.
