007 First Light just got cracked in some days, and now you can get the PC version for free if you know where to look in. Like always, whatever gets cracked on the internet remains free to grab for all the pirates who are willing to navigate the web. Considering the game did well enough however, I don’t think there will be many loses coming from the corporate side of this, and most of the time the people who pirated the game didn’t even have money to pay for it. Regardless, trying to get the game that way comes with risks if you are inexperienced.

There has been a way of Denuvo cracks lately, and this is great for game ownership considering that many restrictions like Denuvo will end up limiting the things we own. We live in a world where the corporate interests are trying to push us towards an all digital civilization, because they believe that people should not own things in the first place. Of course, this is nonsense because people have been creating attachment with things for years now, so trying to take that aspect of human life out is unnatural and inhumane.
We need physical games to be back, with the game inside the disc and no weird online requirements to download it. 007 First Light does not really have a real physical release, so that means that when the servers are dead, this game will just die with the servers, especially since its tied to Denuvo. Things were so much better in the day people could own things, and now we feel like we are missing something, so if companies don’t wish to face issues with piracy, perhaps they should consider selling the game like they used to do.
