The hotly anticipated 007 First Light just got it’s biggest gameplay showcase providing a detailed look at both the stealth and the shooting mechanics of the upcoming title in the newly released ‘Rules of Spycraft’ video, which also serves as a great demonstration of the general gameplay experience you’ll have so check it out.
As clearly shown in the gameplay video, IO Interactive’s 007 First Light boasts a highly impressive range of gameplay experiences, whether you choose to play it stealthily or via guns blazing. The stealth approach includes blending into crowds, eavesdropping on conversations, sneaking around, performing silent takedowns and even bluffing your way in during tense situations.
Aiding Bond in the stealthy approach is a huge array of gadgets which seems as cool and inventive as anything you’ve seen from the films including the Q-Lens, the Q-Watch, the Dart Phone, the Smoke Pod, earbuds, and more. Plus, each gadget can also be used in different ways which will add a great deal of non-linearity into 007 First Light, making sure the replayability is sky-high.
Then there’s also the good ol’ fashioned third person shooting gameplay with cool slow-mo which you may be able to increase even further via some of the RPG elements in the game. So no matter which approach you choose, the upcoming 007 First Light is sure to provide you tons of tools for all your high-profile espionage action.
The upcoming 007: First Light boasts an impressive, star studded cast of Dexter: Original Sin’s Patrick Gibson as the new James Bond, Fear the Walking Dead’s Lennie James as Bond’s mentor John Greenway, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny and Noémie Nakai as Miss Roth.
