Even though it’s not even out yet, the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 is already on track to become one of the biggest selling titles of the year, as based on a recent report by Alinea Analytics, the premier arcade racer has already sold 500,000 units on Steam. The report states that Forza Horizon 6 is on it’s way to reach a whopping $30 million on Steam alone which makes the upcoming title the “best-selling Forza title on Steam pre-launch,” with sales figures expected to grow even beyond cause it still has around a month to drive up hype and as a result, more pre-orders.
“Taking regional pricing and different editions into consideration, Forza Horizon 6 is nearing $30M on Steam. It’s already the best-selling Forza title on Steam pre-launch, with a whole month to go.”
“Based on comparisons to other known quantities and major sequels, pre-sales this high point to Horizon 6 clearing 2M units on Steam within its first 24 hours,” says the report.
The detailed analysis also points out all the key factors that have played their parts to make the upcoming racer a grand commercial success such as the reveal of it’s massive open world map, rock-solid driving gameplay which is a hallmark of the franchise along with the recent reveal of the achievements list for Forza Horizon 6.
The upcoming Forza Horizon 6 will take players to the exotic and breathtaking lands of Japan with a map that’s confirmed by the devs as their “most dense and vertical map yet.” The racer will also feature the authentic Japanese car culture with a staggering 550 plus real world cars including “classics, featuring cutting-edge engine audio and updated steering animations with up to 540 degrees of wheel rotation.”
The Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 6 will cost $69.99 while the more expensive Premium Edition will include the game’s first two expansions, the game Car Pass, two “Car Packs”, a “VIP Membership”, and a Welcome Pack plus four days of early access period. Also, everyone who pre-orders Forza Horizon 6 will get a “Pre-Tuned Ferrari J50” which will definitely make the first few hours of the game much easier.
