Crimson Desert continues to be one of the surefire hits of 2026 with the game confirmed to have sold 3 million units since it came out which means the open world title has managed to reach the impressive sales milestone in less than a week. Developer Pearl Abyss has announced the sales numbers and stated:
“We are grateful to share Crimson Desert has sold through 3 million copies worldwide,” wrote the studio.
“To everyone who has stepped into Pywel and shared this journey with us, thank you. Your feedback continues to help shape the experience, and we will keep working to make the journey ahead even more enjoyable for our players.”
The numbers are on their way to get even bigger in the coming weeks, along with incoming patches that are designed to iron out all the technical and gameplay-level issues that are still present.
In other news of Crimson Desert, developer Pearl Abyss has also officially stated that they’re currently working to resolve all compatibility issues with the Intel GPUs which means if you own one of them, the devs are looking to get the game playable on your graphics card.
“Regarding #CrimsonDesert support for Intel Arc: We are currently working on compatibility and optimization support so that Crimson Desert can also be enjoyed on Intel Arc GPU systems. We are preparing to provide a smooth and stable gameplay experience, and we ask for your patience until the support update becomes available. We apologize for any confusion our FAQ wording from several hours ago regarding playability on Intel Arc GPUs may have caused. Please regard this as our latest official news on the subject. Thank you.”
This is great news cause several Intel GPUs offer some of the most value for your money in the current state of gaming hardware and Crimson Desert not supporting them at launch was a major bummer. But thankfully, it looks like you’ll be able to experience the open world title on an Intel graphics card soon.
