Crimson Desert just happens to be “AI” slop, and it also marks yet another mistake on Valve when it comes to handing out “AI” disclosures. Aside from disclosures, bans towards those who fail to provide information about its usage should be enforced, punishments such as making the game free, or forcing live services to stay online should be ideal for this kind of businessmen. Pearl Abyss is clearly filled with a very corrupt elite that does not want to make games for the sake of art, they do want to have every last dime from you for the lowest quality possible.
Crimson Desert is slop
Everyone was complaining about this game back when it got announced out of nowhere, and in fact some are feeling validated. I always felt something weird when a company that primarily does live service scams like MMOs just decides to go the Single Player game route, there’s something that is not right at all. And this confirms it, Pearl Abyss not only bans streamers without any justified reason, ruining livelihoods and slandering others, but they also mistreat their employees. Reviews show us that this game was merely just a marketing tactic, its the new triple A slop, or should I say triple “AI” slop tactic of grabbing youtubers to shill it.
Crimson Desert is a disappointing waste of Steam store space, and its definitely not made by an indie company at all unlike those who are new to gaming believe. Not to mention the fact that the company is angry at us for trying to play it on hardware where it is supposed to work, this proves that the entire code base of Crimson Desert is also AI slop too. The fact that this does not run on Intel GPUs means that they had zero care to optimize the game in any way. If there’s no effort, why care?
