Gex Trilogy receives collector’s edition with weird goodies

Gex Trilogy will pack a collector’s edition with the most unhinged of goodies. PC gamers will receive one of the weirdest trilogies to ever grace the PS1. If the Yoshitaka Amano rendition of Gex wasn’t ludicrous enough for you, then a 3 foot inflatable doll of him will make you question the sanity of society as a whole. When you think about it, the amount of weird specific jokes this game made back then kinda makes this have a reason to be. Like for real, just, check the name Gex for instance… Oh well. We at Infinite Start will cover one of the weirdest collectors editions ever.

Gex Trilogy gets off to a good start

This special edition, named Tail Time Edition comes packed with a ton of goodies that are quite weird to say the least, mainly the inflatable doll but, you know. Considering how bleak things are getting for the industry, its neat to see some sort of natural unhinged-ness happen once in a while. We really need something that can bring the wackiness of those older days back, and it seems that this will do it if even for a brief moment.

This special edition will be priced at $200, which honestly its quite a lot but usually collections go for this price. As the market gets shrinkflated however, its not justifiable to spend that amount of money on an inflatable doll of a weird 90s Gecko. Seriously, there’s tons of games you can get for that amount of money, but are they really better than Gex? Yes, yes they are. We hope that Limited Run Games manages to pull a good port this time, which would be quite the irony considering they have fumbled many ports before, including the beloved Tomba! re-release.

If we could have only received all of the cut content with that too, let a gamer dream.
