Oddventure an odd and new RPG set to come on March 6 on PC

Oddventure is another RPG that is coming soon for PC players. This new adventure is clearly inspired by the cult classic SNES title Earthbound. One can see however that a lot of things seems to have been updated. The developers at Infamous Rabbit seem to be working very hard on a new experience that might reach our heart. Oddventure is set to release this year and it will be packed to the brim with lots of quirkiness. We at Infinite Start will cover some speculation of this new release that will rock PC users.

A wacky dreamlike experience

Oddventure is a JRPG that will provide players with multiple choices that will affect the outcome of the story. While not being a staple in the genre, as it has been done by other titles such as Undertale, it is neat to see this being used again. Different endings often bring lots of replayability without the need to make such a long adventure. Nowadays, people seem to prefer to go for shorter yet meaningful experiences due to many factors.

Back in the day, games weren’t as long as they are now. People are accustomed to this fact and tend to expect quick yet quality driven games. In the current flood of triple A titles that want your time and money at all times, Indies provide a relief. People also wish to sometimes connect more in a meaningful way with the things they consume. To be able to provide this to players, it is important to have a set narrative in mind along with a likable cast.

A good story is often remembered for years to come, while a live service multiplayer title just gets replaced. Many of us remember the days of the first titles we’ve beaten, and those that we enjoyed the most are to be remember forever. Oddventure seems to be going for that, a new yet familiar experience to cause the same effect in newer players. We can hope that Oddventure is a successful title, and you can wishlist it on their Steam page to give support.
