Humble Bundle’s new Sale was plagued by severe bugs

Humble Bundle‘s New Sale was a disaster of epic proportions. It is sad to see a big player on the PC Indie Awareness scene be sidelined like this. Apparently, the site has been ridden with nasty errors that prevented buyers from acquiring their games. The server side was plagued by multiple bugs that returned 500 errors to everyone who tried to buy their games. There hasn’t been any sort of word from support either. We at Infinite Start will cover this in depth.

Not so humble now

Humble Bundle has always been a go to for PC gamers, you could always get amazing deals out of them. However, lots of things changed once they were bought by IGN, a popular but controversial source of news for gaming. Between these changes, there was good and bad things like every business. However, now something bad happened for PC gamers, the newest sale was pretty much bogus.

Being ridden by bugs on the server side, players were unable to buy their desired titles. Apparently, there has been no notification on why this is happening, but many users are starting to report this severe outage. The best thing that can happen, is that Humble Bundle’s New Sale can get delayed to accommodate the fact that people couldn’t buy their products.

Sometimes blunders like this happens to everyone, but it is particularly sad to see that one of the biggest benefactors in the indie space has suffered this fate. One must not lose hope however, as there’s always plenty of offers in different platforms. Most of these platforms subscribe to the same altruistic idea of preservation and giving cheap deals to customers. It is good for players to try and find out which sites hold these values, so they can ensure they can have ownership of what they buy.
