Greed and the unrelenting pursuit of financial viability has caused terrible damage to the gaming landscape. EA Games is known to be the most evil company in the medium, always trying to take advantage of players via psychological manipulation. EA CEO gets a reality check when he realized that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 just sold 1 million units in 24 hours. Triple A is nothing more than a gimmick, and the crash might be nearing soon. We at Infinite Start will hope that this is a prelude for gaming to heal up.
Many times have the corporate caste at EA Games tried to sink gaming into what is reminiscent of a virtual casino. Regulations have even been put in place by Europe to try and limit these nefarious actions. However, many EA Sports titles are still rated as E for Everyone despite being obvious Casino forefronts. This attempt to circumvent the law on gambling becomes more obvious day by day, as many casino companies are slowly poisoning our hobby.
Raid Shadow Legends is the most blatant example of the bigger corporate caste that wishes to rot gaming to the core. The company behind the game only dedicates itself to casino machines and gambling and never developed real video games before. Games are for players and by players, and this is why Indie games are carrying the industry on their back, preventing a collapse.
Things don’t look well for the triple A industry, after many flops that happened, including lots of EA Games flops, it seems an era will come to an end. We can only hope that EA Games can crumble quickly, so gaming can start seeing better quality titles being put out. Publicity is something that indie games struggle with, so its time for the big dogs in the industry to be displaced due to their terrible practices against consumers.
