Call of Duty Kicks Off Double XP Event Alongside Free Black Ops 6 Trial

Call of Duty players have a big weekend ahead as Black Ops 6 and Warzone launch a brand-new Double XP event, running from February 6 to February 10. During this period, players will earn double XP and Weapon XP across both games, while Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode will also see increased GobbleGum acquisition rates.

Perfect Timing with Black Ops 6 Free Trial

The event coincides with Black Ops 6’s ongoing free trial, allowing players to jump into select multiplayer modes and maps without needing to own the game. The free access includes Nuketown 24/7, Stakeout 24/7, Overdrive, Gunfight, and core modes like Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination. Zombies players can also experience The Tomb and Liberty Falls, with the latter offering both Standard and Directed modes.

Activision doesn’t always line up Double XP events with free trials, but this time, players can make the most of both promotions at once. Whether you’re a veteran grinding for prestige or a newcomer testing the game, it’s an ideal time to level up fast.

Terminator Event Adds More Rewards

In addition to the Double XP event, Black Ops 6 and Warzone have also launched a Terminator-themed event. Players can earn Skulls by completing matches and use them to unlock various rewards, including a Scanning emblem, Reactive Armor perk, War Machine Scorestreak, and the Ocular System weapon charm. While a Double Weapon XP Token is available as a prize, it won’t be usable until the Double XP event ends.

The Terminator event runs until February 20, but another major in-game promotion, Shadow Hunt, kicks off on February 13. That event will offer a fresh set of seven unlockable rewards, including the TR2 Marksman Rifle and Tanto .22 Binary Trigger Fire Mod.

For now, though, the focus is on the Double XP grind. Whether you’re ranking up weapons in Warzone or diving into Black Ops 6’s multiplayer and Zombies modes, there’s no better time to jump in. Just make sure to take advantage of the event before it wraps up on February 10.
